The following are hardware requirements you must meet for us to meet our service obligations. Other hardware may be supported on a “best-effort” basis at our discretion.

Desktops

Business or Enterprise models with the following characteristics:

  • Make: Dell (preferred), HP, Apple, or Microsoft Surface
  • Warranty: Current
  • CPU: Intel i3, i5, i7 (Generation 11 and higher)
    Apple M1, M2 (no more than 2 generations behind)
  • RAM: 16+ GB
  • Storage: 256+ GB Solid State Drive (SSD)
  • TPM 2.0 Module
  • OS: Windows 11 Pro, MacOS 13+
  • No End of Life Devices can be supported
  • Uninterruptable Power Supply

Laptops

Business or Enterprise models with the following characteristics:

  • Monitor: Resolution of 1920×1080 or higher, minimum size 23″ or higher.

How much bandwidth does your company need? It depends, but must companies can function with the following MINIMUM bandwidth. 

  • 1-4 users (Download: 25Mbps/ Upload: 5Mbps)
  • 5-10 users (Download: 50Mbps/ Upload: 15Mbps)
  • 11-20 users (Download: 150Mbps/ Upload: 35Mbps)

Your company will need to have a reliable and fast Internet connection in order for Roseville Tech Support to serve you properly. Please keep in mind that it really depends on how you use your business Internet connection. This is just an idea for most common business activities. We discourage the use of satellite, hotspot, and other wireless connections with data caps or throttle enforced by the ISP.
